How do you match the colour of my vehicle?

From your vehicle’s paint code we can obtain a paint formulation from the special software on our smart phone / laptop computer. We carry over 100 different colour tints and the paint is carefully weighed and mixed by us to achieve the perfect match and allow repairs to commence immediately. Most paint colours can be reproduced exactly, which is vital for a successful SMART repair!

Can you come out to me at the weekend?

We work from Monday to Saturday, but not on Sunday or Bank Holidays.

Can you repair my vehicle if the weather is poor?

Our mobile workshop is equipped with an awning, lighting and heaters, which allow us to work in most weather conditions, except for when it is windy, very wet, or extremely cold. If multiple panels require repairing we will need dry weather as our wet weather equipment will not cover the whole of the vehicle.

How long does a repair take?

This varies depending on the size of the repair but on average between 2 and 5 hours from start to finish. We work in a very methodical way and will not cut corners to compromise on quality.

How long after the repair has been completed can I drive my vehicle?

After one hour has elapsed, although we recommend you do not wash the vehicle for at least 24 hours following a repair, to allow the lacquer to fully set.

What guarantee do you offer on repairs?

We are confident that you will be delighted with the quality of our work and are proud to offer a ‘lifetime’ guarantee on all repairs (except those involving the treatment of corrosion and headlight lens refurbishment) against faulty materials and workmanship, for as long as you are the registered keeper of the vehicle.

What size repairs do you undertake?

We specialise in small to medium sized repairs. We will not undertake structural damage repairs as these need specialist equipment and a controlled environment to work in.

How much will my repair cost?

It is difficult to give an exact quote for repairs without first seeing the damage as the cost will depend on the amount of work involved. We do not charge by the hour but prefer to give you a total, fully inclusive price for the repair. We are not registered for VAT, so there is no additional 20% to add to our prices! We shall be pleased to discuss pricing and provide a free, no obligation quote to you before you decide to proceed with the repairs.

When do I pay and what payment methods do you accept?

You pay our technician once the work has been completed. You can pay by Cash or Debit / Credit Card (VISA DEBIT, VISA and MASTERCARD). 

We regret that we are no longer able to accept payment by cheque or bank transfer.

We are able to provide you with an invoice detailing the work carried out.

Are you a franchise or an independent business?

Smart Pro (Mobile Vehicle Cosmetic Repairs) Ltd is an independent, non franchise business. All repairs are undertaken by a fully trained and experienced technician to ensure quality of work and service is maintained. We are based in Billingshurst, West Sussex but operate a fully mobile service throughout most of Surrey and West Sussex (see below for list of towns covered).  

Are you insured?

Yes, we have public and product liability insurance as you would expect from a well established business.

What is Smart Pro’s Privacy Policy?

Customer details will only be used by Smart Pro (Mobile Vehicle Cosmetic Repairs) Ltd. Financial / bank detail information including credit card information, billing addresses etc will only be used for invoicing purposes. We use a secure mobile credit/debit card chip and pin terminal for credit/debit card payments. Credit/debit card details are not retained by Smart Pro (Mobile Vehicle Cosmetic Repairs) Ltd.
